Tony Abbott

Anthony John Abbott (born 4 November 1957 in London, England, United Kingdom) is an Australian politician of the Liberal Party of Australia and was Prime Minister of Australia from 18 September 2013 to 15 September 2015. Malcolm Turnbull defeated Abbott in an internal party vote by the Liberal parliamentary group on 14 September 2015 to become Prime Minister. In the general election in Australia, which took place on 18 May 2019, Tony Abbott lost his seat in parliament.
